In 1971, a group of chorister wives and friends decided to meet to discuss ways to raise money to help purchase much needed choir uniforms, and to provide ongoing financial help to the choir tours. The group are fittingly named after Eurydice, the beloved wife of Orpheus.

In 1971, a group of chorister wives and friends decided to meet to discuss ways to raise money to help purchase much needed choir uniforms, and to provide ongoing financial help to the choir tours. The group are fittingly named after Eurydice, the beloved wife of Orpheus.
The ladies also help by running a tea and coffee rota to revitalize the men during weekly choir rehearsals. The ladies often accompany the men when the choir goes on tour and provide support for concerts by selling raffle tickets and choir mechandise. They also act as wonderful hosts for visiting choirs.
Just as the Male and Ladies choirs are seeking new members, so too is Eurydice.

- Advance notice and purchase of tickets for the Annual Concert (and free programme)
- Opportunities to participate with the choir in its activities, concert trips and tours (capacity allowing)
- Two newsletters a year giving details of news and events involving the choir and its concert programme.
As a Vice president you are enabling the choir to continue its role of promoting Welsh Male Voice Choir choral culture in the Abertillery / Gwent area and across the UK, so providing valuable assistance to its reputation and fund-raising capabilities.
